Welcome!
If you've made it this far, let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Kade Hollis, but I go by Kadius, my family name. I was raised in West Texas, and I've been writing since I learned how to hold a pen. I was first published in the third grade and have been published many times since then.

I'm not telling you this to say "oh, praise me," but simply to show you who I am: someone born to tell stories.
No matter how often I tried to run from it (and trust me, I ran plenty), writing always returned to me. That being said, I hope you enjoy what you find here. My style is deeply inspired by the Roman poets who first lit the fire inside me. (hence the tattoo on my head)

I believe poetic form is not something to fear or abandon, but something beautiful—something to be mastered and adapted for modern times.

This is my heart and soul, and you're welcome to it.
